Getting to The Windward Islands could be challenging task. We hope that following information that we have gathered for you will be helpful in your research for travel arrangements.

There are 3 locations from which we usually originate our charters :  St. Lucia, St. Vincent  and Grenada.
 
St. Lucia

Flights to St. Lucia arrive at Hewanorra International Airport located at southernmost tip of the island. From here you need to take a Taxi (approx. 40 min ride , US$80.00)  to Soufriere, located next to the famous Pitons, where you board your yacht.

Please be aware that for all  charters originating in St. Lucia  there is a yacht delivery fee of US$ 500.00 which is not included in your charter fee. Also be aware that your first day will be a very long day of sailing  - getting to The Grenadines.
  


For visitors coming from the United States, American Airlines flies daily from Miami.

American Eagle flies four times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between San Juan’s Luis Munoz Marin International Airport and George Charles Airport in the Capital Castries with connections to major international gateways.

US Airways flies once a week from Charlotte NC on Saturdays. They also fly from Philladelphia once a week on Saturdays until April 30.

Delta  provides service from Atlanta’s Hartsfield - Jackson Airport by the following schedule for 2012: Jan 14 - Feb 13, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. From Feb 16 - April 2nd, daily. April 6 - June 4 Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. June 9 - Dec 31, Saturday, Sunday and Monday These flights all land at Hewanorra International Airport in Vieux Fort.

Jet Blue provides service from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport by the following schedule for 2012: Jan 5 - Feb 12, three flights weekly on Thursdays, Sundays and Mondays. Feb 13 - 19, five weekly flights on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Feb 20 - Feb 26 six flights weekly on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Feb 27 - April 8 five flights weekly on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays all from New York's JFK.

During the peak season, between mid-November and mid-March, a number of tour companies operate charters from London, Toronto, Milan and various Caribbean destinations.

Air Canada serves from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Saint Lucia on from Jan - April four times a week on Fridays, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Starting April 10th, flights will operate on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. From April 16 - Sept 30 two flight a week on Saturdays and Sundays. Air Canada also flies from Montreal from January 1 - April 9, 2012 on Mondays.

West Jet has service between Toronto and Saint Lucia on Thursdays and Sundays until December 15, 2011.

Air Transat
  operates two flight on Sundays between January and April between Toronto and Saint Lucia.

British Airways has daily non-stop service between London Gatwick Airport and Hewanorra International Airport.

Virgin Atlantic flies to the island three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Condor provides service from Frankfurt, Germany to Hewanorra International on Thursdays until April 12.

Liat offers an extensive service for regional travel and connections to international destinations.

Air Caraibes offers a daily service between Martinique and Saint Lucia.

REDjet offers service from Barbados on Fridays and Sundays until April 29.

WinAir provides access to Saint Lucia from the more northern islands as well as the Netherland Antilles. Being relatively new, a steady schedule has not yet been adopted.

Air Antilles Express offers flights between Guadeloupe, Martinique and Saint Lucia on weekends.


Airports
There are two (2) airports on the island: Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF) is located 40 miles south of Castries and George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) which adorns a pleasant coastline on the outskirts Castries.

Grenada

Flights to Grenada arrive at Maurice Bishop International Airport - MBIA (formerly known as Point Salines International Airport), is just five minutes from St. George's, the capital.
You will find Taxi/ Car-Rentals at the airport - All Taxi fares are fixed by the Grenada Board of Tourism and are quoted in US Dollars.

Please be aware that we do not recommend originating of the charter from Grenada during the winter season. The northbound upwind trip to The Grenadines could be quite uncomfortable for most. In summer months the winds are lighter and more variable which makes Grenada a good starting point.

Air Canada Vacations
Air Canada Vacations operates a weekly service from Toronto to Grenada during the Winter season (December to April) with easy connections from Halifax, Montreal and Ottawa.
American Airlines
American Airlines offers direct service in and out of Grenada (GDA) three times per week from Miami International Airport (MIA) during the summer months and four times a week during the winter.
British Airways

British Airways flies once a week (Tuesday) via London/Gatwick to Grenada. The service has a total journey time of 10 hours 35 minutes, with one stop in Antigua.
Caribbean Airlines
International gateways are New York, Miami, Toronto and London*, serving Trinidad, Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, Antigua, St Maarten, St Lucia Guyana, and Suriname.
Delta Airlines

From July 3, 2010.
The nonstop (weekly) service departs JFK at 8:30 am and arrives in Grenada at 1:20 pm with the return flight scheduled to depart at 2:10 pm and arriving in New York at 7:30 pm. 
Virgin Atlantic Airways
Virgin Atlantic operates weekly flights into Grenada from London every Thursday.

Caribbean Airlines offering direct incoming fligths to Grenada.
Liat
LIAT flies to over 20 destinations in the Caribbean from Puerto Rico in the north to Guyana in the south. Direct flights are operated daily to Grenada from Trinidad, Tobago, Barbados and St. Vincent, with connecting flights to all other islands.
St. Vincent Air
SVG Air is a St. Vincent and the Grenadines corporation based in St. Vincent and operating since 1990. The company operates charter flights throughout all the islands of the Eastern Caribbean and as far afield as Jamaica, Venezuela and Guyana.
Conviasa
Conviasa Airlines is a new Venezuelan airline that flies from Porlamar, Margarita to Grenada every Friday and Sunday.
St. Vincent

St. Vincent’s main airport is the E. T. Joshua Airport in Arnos Vale, a short distance from Kingstown. This airport services international flights as well as flights to and from the Grenadines and other Caribbean destinations.

A short ride from the airport on the southernmost tip of St. Vincent is Young Island resort where majority of our guests join the yacht. From here most of the sailing through The Grenadines is done in comfortable direction even in strong winter winds and longest sails do not exceed 3 hrs.


The major gateways to St. Vincent & The Grenadines from North America and Europe are Barbados, Grenada, Trinidad, St. Lucia, Martinique and Puerto Rico, with connecting flights to Bequia, Canouan, Mustique and Union Island

LIAT Airlines and SVG Air
provide connecting flights between major Caribbean International Airports and The Grenadines

St. Vincent and the the Grenadines has an information desk in the Arrivals Section of the Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados. This desk is opened daily at 1:00 p.m. until the last flight to St. Vincent departs. Personnel are on hand to assist travellers in making connections to their final destinations.
